The Bus for Change

NMYO owns a big old yellow school bus – the fearless Bus for Change! We bring young people together on the weekends, pile into the bus, and go door to door in neighborhoods throughout the state to urge people to register to vote and vote in upcoming elections.

And on Halloween, NMYO organizes hundreds of volunteers to dress up in costumes and go Trick or Voting, reminding their peers to get out and vote.

NMYO also goes out frequently to do community projects like working on farms, weatherizing homeless shelters and cleaning up parks. So whether you are interested in service or elections, NMYO has a seat for you!
